About Us

At Pulse, we believe that "When Early Childhood Works, We All Work." A strong foundation in the early years leads to a thriving society and a robust workforce. Our work is driven by a deep commitment to ensuring every child in Michigan has access to high-quality early learning opportunities. Through strategic partnerships and innovative initiatives, we help create environments where children, families, and communities can flourish.

Our Story

Founded in 2012, Pulse was created to address a critical need—bridging the gaps in early childhood education, childcare access, and workforce support across Michigan.

From our beginnings as a small but passionate team, we have grown into a statewide movement, working alongside policymakers, businesses, and community leaders to create sustainable solutions. Over the past decade, we’ve pioneered initiatives that ensure families have the resources they need, educators receive the support they deserve, and employers can attract and retain a thriving workforce.

Today, Pulse continues to drive meaningful change, leading innovative projects that build a stronger, more resilient future for Michigan’s youngest learners.
